As a senior woman, I found Sakura Boutique Hotel to be a delightful place to stay during my visit to Kathmandu. The hotel's decor was charming and welcoming, with beautiful traditional elements that added to the overall ambiance. The general areas were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for guests. The hotel's accessibility for senior people was exceptional, with easy navigation throughout the premises and helpful staff always available to assist with any needs.
The only thing I would have asked for to make my vacation even better for senior people is if the children working there could have been a bit more patient and understanding. Sometimes it can be challenging for us to keep up with their energy and fast pace, but overall, it was a minor inconvenience that did not detract from the overall positive experience at Sakura Boutique Hotel.

The hotel was located in a very convenient part of the city, close to all of the main attractions. the staff were incredibly helpful, and went out of their way to make my new year even more special, offering complimentary champagne and chocolates. the room was clean and spacious, and had a great view of the city.
Although the room was generally clean, some areas were not thoroughly cleaned, especially in the bathroom. the shower was also quite temperamental, and there were times where there was no hot water or water pressure.

Spent New Year's weekend at a hotel in the bustling market area. The rooms were spacious, and I enjoyed being able to look out the window and have a view of all the shops and people walking by. The hot shower was a great way to warm up from the chilly weather, and the friendly staff helped me navigate the area and find some good spots to eat.
The noise level in the hotel was unbearable. The partying and loud music from nearby clubs could be heard all night long, making it nearly impossible to sleep.

During my recent stay at Sakura Boutique, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and personalized service I received. Upon arriving at the airport, I was greeted by a friendly hotel representative holding a placard with my name on it. This unexpected gesture made me feel welcomed and special right from the start. The room itself was clean, spacious, and had a comfortable bed. I particularly enjoyed the hot shower after a long day of exploring. The hotel manager, Mr. Ramchandra, went above and beyond, providing me with valuable information about Nepal and suggesting interesting places to visit and trek. The hotel's central location in the heart of Thamel was perfect for easy access to restaurants, nightlife, and temples. The staff, including Aayush Giri and Kewal at the travel agents, were incredibly attentive and ensured that I had a great stay. I highly recommend Sakura Boutique for its excellent value for money and exceptional service.
